More than 30 years ago, long before beef jerky showed up in supermarket snack aisles, Keith (the bloke we call the “Master of Flavour”) was already perfecting the craft. What began as a hands-on passion has become a true Aussie tradition, fuelling families and flavour fans right across the country. Silvers Jerky is still made the old-fashioned way, right inside GJ’s Organic Butchery on the Gold Coast. Every strip starts with top-quality, locally raised organic beef, hand-boned by Shane Elliot – a butcher with serious skill. It’s then sliced, soaked in our bold house marinades, and slow-dried for 24 hours right there in-store. Step inside and you’ll smell it: proper jerky in the making.

This is real food, made with care by people who know their craft. Our air-dried jerky delivers that deep, smoky flavour and chewy, tender bite — no fillers, no shortcuts. Just protein-packed satisfaction that hits the spot and actually fills you up. You won’t find this kind of jerky on a production line. It’s made fresh, daily, by experienced butchers who still believe in doing things right — the way it’s always been done.
